Before plunging your first ball, you select your Character: - Luke (the FORCE): increased scoring during Lightsaber Duel - Leia (Missions): Adds 3x to the shot multiplier during "4th Mode" of each planet - R2-D2 (Multipliers): increases multiplied shot thresholds, and multipliers last longer - Han Solo: increased scoring during "Escape from Boba Fett" Various Planet Modes are "Spotted" for each character (modes not appropriate story wise) Some Planet Modes are different for specific characters: - Han Solo: Death Star II: Escape the Death Star - Leia: Hoth III: Repair the Hyperdrive

Awards for completing FORCE during non-mode play: - "F" Light Mystery scoop - "O" Light Escape, right outlane ball save - "R" Light Video Mode (right inner loop) - "C" Doubled Multipliers - note: will time out with overall multiplier timeout - "E" Lightsaber Duel (left ramp) Asteroid Video Mode: Avoid Asteroids, Action button is a speed boost - Shot X on right loop applies to the Video Scoring! Lightsaber Duel: Shoot left ramp to start -> Delay Vader to help Allies escape - Blue shots for points (inner loops and right ramp) - Red shots add time (3 bank and left ramp) - FORCE targets increase award values - Will continue on next ball if unfinished

Shot Multipliers
A) Hit the 3-Bank to add +1X to Shot Multiplier (up to 20X) --- Also resets the Shot X timer to 20 seconds B) Shot X Arrows determine which shots are multiplied (when Green) The player interactively controls the shot multipliers during the game. A spread of "X" shots will be lit green (on) or red (off): - Red [OFF] - shots are in "move" mode, and player can use flippers to select/move - Green [ON] - shots are "locked in", and will multiply when hit - hitting the Action Button will toggle between Red and Green modes - Shot Multipliers start 2X - 3-Bank targets add +1X and resets the timer (up to 20X) - The 20X can be Doubled for a max of 40X ("C" in FORCE) NOTE: the display shows a Red or Green box with the current Shot X value - Tip 1: pick shots for Jackpots and Mode Bonuses to multiply - Tip 2: let balls drain in Multiball, and they will plunge into the 3-bank target

All major Multiballs can award an Add-A-Ball AND it can be SAVED for future use! To award an Add-A-Ball "Bomb" (orange Action button) - During Multiball ONLY - Spell FORCE by hitting ANY FORCE target 5 times (timed) - If the timer runs out, FORCE progress resets - Spelling FORCE awards an Add-A-Ball Bomb (orange Action button) To use the Add-A-Ball: HOLD the Action Button (about a second) Add-A-Ball Bombs can be saved, and used in later multiballs!
